HELP ANAS SURVIVE IN GAZA. ATTEND OUR ONLINE FUNDRAISING EVENT
Anas is a Palestinian wheelchair athlete who has spent nearly two years trapped in Gaza under siege. He is living through an ongoing genocide, displaced multiple times, and now surviving in unimaginable conditions with a broken wheelchair — without access to clean water, food, medical care, income, or safe shelter.
As a person with disabilities, Anas faces even greater barriers to survival. Despite everything, he continues to hold onto hope. But he cannot do it alone.
This fundraiser is for Anas. Every donation goes directly to him — to help cover basic needs like food, medicine, and safe shelter. Your support means survival.
Limited seats available for REST IS RESISTANCE — an unmissable event with an incredible lineup supporting Anas. Can’t attend? Help by purchasing a digital copy of his book — a powerful collection of poetry and musings written by Anas himself. Early bird tickets are disappearing fast — act now to save a life!
Rest is Resistance is an online fundraising event created to offer a moment of pause — a space for healing, reflection, and reconnection.
Activism asks everything of us. In the fight for justice, it's easy to pour ourselves out until there's nothing left. This event is especially for those feeling the weight of activist burnout — a chance to slow down, to be held in community, and to honour your exhaustion without turning away from the struggle.
The evening will open with a short documentary introducing Anas Mushtaha, a Palestinian wheelchair athlete who remains in Gaza, surviving genocide.
We’ll begin with a guided, accessible yoga class to ground ourselves in breath and presence.
Next, Chad — a disability justice advocate — will deliver a powerful talk on Why Palestine is a Disability Justice Issue.
We’ll close with a reflective message from Mo Hamzeh on The Weight and Will of Activism for Palestine, offering insight into the emotional toll of sustained resistance and the ongoing struggle for justice.
All proceeds go directly to Anas.
Join us in this act of collective care, resistance, and solidarity.

OUR WHY…
By coming together and supporting each other through community, art, and events, we become the ones who take care of each other — and together, we will liberate ourselves from the claws of imperialism that threaten to suffocate us all. We launched One Humanity Collective to raise awareness, build solidarity, and mobilise collective action for those resisting oppression and global injustice.
